Amy Smart, an American model, actress and actor. She was born in California USA, Amy Smart began her modeling career there. Her first role as an actor was in the TV production Her Costly Affair. Her fight to secure the role in Starship Troopers, a film with mainly minor roles was a gruelling battle. She struggled with the transition into acting since actors were never considered good actors, and they generally were offered less parts. Amy was determined to succeed and she eventually landed larger roles starting with The 70s, the movie Varsity Blues. The 2005 romantic comedy Just Friends, which also included Ryan Reynolds, saw her play some more notable roles. The film was a major film at the box office and Amy had finally found the success she'd been trying for for more than a decade.
