Harry Edward Styles - also known as Harry Styles - is a British musician and songwriter. Harry Styles has been recognized for his compositions to the One Direction band. The band is based in Holmes Chapel in Cheshire England Styles is the son of Des Styles & Anne Cox. Harry Styles, a former pupil of the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive schools was the founder of a band called White Eskimo together with three of his fellow students. Their outstanding performances allowed them to win the Battle of Bands 2009. Despite having an interest in music He also wished to become a lawyer or the profession of physiotherapist. Part-time work in a city bakery was his first opportunity in order to provide for his family. For the year 2010 Harry Styles presented audition for The X Factor where he did the track Is not She Lovely by Stevie Wonder and was selected. The reason for this was that the group split. Nicole Scherzinger told Harry Styles, Liam Payne Zayn Milik Niall Horan, and Louis Tomlinson that they'd be forming a group named One Direction after the X Test audition. Simon Cowell sponsored the young group in 2010. The group sang the song Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would be Sucking Without You along with Bonnie Tyler Total Eclipse of the Heart. The result, they were among the finalists. However, they finished third place, just behind Rebecca Ferguson. Harry Styles did not receive an award, but Cowell has offered a two million-pound contract to One Direction in order for the group to join Syco Records.
