Laura Linney

Laura Linney (born February 5 1964 New York New York U.S.) American actress best well-known for her powerful but fragile characters. Linney was raised in a family of actors her father was the playwright and writer Romulus Linney. Linney graduated in 1986 from Brown University in 1986 and then went on to study at the Arts Theatre School in Moscow and graduated in the Juilliard School (M.F.A.) New York City was her initial destination in 1990. Her first appearance was in shows on Broadway later receiving acclaim for her performances as Hedda Gabler in Six Degrees of Separation and Hedda Gabler.
